Our vision is to grow disciples into passionate followers of Jesus Christ. We try our best to build our calendar around events that will accomplish this goal. The Word of God is at the center of our calendar. Each and every week there are many opportunities to hear the Word of God. We have Bible studies throughout the week for all ages.

We also have an incredible gymnasium that the Lord has provided for us to use. In our facilities we focus on worshipping together, fellowshipping together, and so much more. We hope that you will come and be a part of what the Lord is doing at Heritage.

The Heartbeat of Heritage

Life is a long distance race, a marathon. When you observe the world around you, it is easy to see that the world is running in a race to win all sorts of prizes: possessions, pleasure, prestige, and power. The world believes that these things are the real treasures in life. It is true that all races have prizes. But it is also true that NOT all prizes are of equal value. The Bible teaches that there is only ONE prize of "surpassing value...Jesus Christ." (Phillipians 3:8) He alone is the one prize, which is eternally valuable.

Jesus Christ alone can save sinners from their sins and the just penalty they deserve which is death and eternal separation from everlasting joy in the presence of God. So many people are going to be terrified when they come to the end of their race, that is the end of life, and find that the prize that they were seeking is something that is worthless in the next life, The scripture says that it is worthless to "gain the whole world and lose your soul." (Mark 8:36)

Our purpose

The purpose of Heritage Baptist Church is to spread a passion for the glory of God in all things, for the joy of all people.

our mission

Heritage Baptist Church has but one mission based on the Great Commission and Great Commandment... to develop disciples who passionately pursue Christ Jesus.

our vision

Because Jesus Christ is our greatest treasure and greatest pleasure in life, we are developing our lives to PURSUE Him alone. But what does a disciple passionately pursuing Christ look like? The following are the characteristics that define what we see ourselves becoming. We have certainly not reached all of them, but we are striving with all our hearts.

Partakers of Christ: Salvation

Uniting with followers of Christ: Fellowship

Rejoicing in Christ: Worship

Submitting to Christ: Lordship

Understanding God's Word about Christ: Discipleship

Imitating the Life of Christ: Transformation

Nurturing others to be like Christ: Ministry

Going into all the world for Christ: Evangelism
